Families, as we head into the holiday season, here's a friendly reminder that Maryland’s Out of State Travel Advisory that was issued in July remains in effect. Any student(s) traveling for personal reasons to a state (other than their state of residence, Virginia, and the District of Columbia) with a COVID-19 positivity rate above 10% must be tested for COVID-19 within 72 hours of their return.
While waiting for the test results, the student(s) should self-quarantine and contact school to participate in distance learning during that time.
Please visit https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/ (COVID-19 Tests Performed by State - Commercial and Reference, Public Health, and Hospital) to view the latest state data as you make decisions regarding your travel plans.
